The fantastic computer game(s) Baldur’s Gate, Tales of The Swordcoast, Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal, have a special place in my heart. If you haven’t played them you’ve missed out. The 4 in 1 boxset exist and can be purchased online for next to nothing (PC and Mac).

aw man ! now i also want to play BG I & II again ;D thanks alot … ( but it´s hard to imagine to beat the game on insan only with minsc in party cuz you aint got a real healer or buffer in your team ;D )

It’s possible to beat the BG I&II totally solo on insane. Many people have done that. The real feat is to beat the game without dying (loading a save after dying) even once… I doubt anyone has done that.
i have completed the game on normal without dieing, i was doing a speedrun for the game and well, you can’t die in one of them,

true, if i´m not wrong, the exp´s don´t get split up if you´re alone so you level up faster. but BTT:

Shenanagins– Mage/Thiefs can’t use shields!
As he plays “solo” and is a thief… he get the HLA (high level ability) “Use any Item” before he ventures into the Underdark. So he can use the Shield of Balduran without any major problems.
